An encounter with reality.

I have seen children wearing clothes  close to being ragged.

Animals eating from garbage strown ground.

Muddy streams that is used to gather water, wash clothes, and bodies.

Children hunger for love, affection, education, and most of all faith.

People abandoned and begging because they are deformed or disabled.

Human trafficking is for real since the stories I have heard that make your skin crawl.

No money or jobs so they take a chance to go to neighboring  countries or abroad for a better chance.  If they return their minds spoiled from much angst.

Was it worth it I ask?

No way.

But what else is there for them.

Forgotten by the world and society.

  1. Thank you for the good critique. Me and my friend were just preparing to do some research about this. We got a book from our local library but I think I’ve learned more from this post. I’m very glad to see such wonderful information being shared freely out there…
